What the heck is a grievance journal?

Toxic positivity got you down? Sick of perfectly-coiffed "life coaches" with glowing skin and zero problems telling you to manifest a better life by just "choosing" happiness? We are, too! So sick of it, in fact, that we created the perfect repository for all your existential angst and daily gripes!

Introducing the Grievance Journal! Whether it's terrible drivers, annoying co-workers, heinous in-laws, or humanity at large causing you grief, don't stuff it down — express your rage on the pages within and move on with your interminably long life here in the hellscape we've all come to know and loathe!

Who is this grievance journal for?

Humans! Particularly humans who like to write things on paper and vent about all the ways in which the world has wronged them. It's cheaper than therapy and less dangerous than the incarceration that would surely result if you acted on your darkest impulses instead of just jotting them down in this sweet journal for sourpusses.

What can this grievance journal do for me?

This anger management journal is a safe place for venting about life's annoyances. Writing about your sources of aggravation can help you identify problematic patterns in your life and think about ways you can make changes.

While the positive psychology set loves to wax poetically about "manifesting" your desires, we're big believers in agency. Magical thinking won't change your life, but recognizing patterns and thinking about actions you can take to change what's bothering you works.

No source of annoyance is too small for this anti gratitude journal. You'll be free from the pressure to appreciate things like a beating heart or oxygen, and encouraged to write about your true feelings. Learn to laugh at your pettiest of grievances and exhaust your brain's urge to complain.

Great company

My merchandise was just as advertised. I loved all the personal email communication about my order, shipping, etc. I really felt like they cared if all was well, which it was . Would DEFINITELY shop with them again.

Just what I wanted

I received my grievance journal 3 days ago and it is exactly what I wanted! Positivity is important but I need to keep it real (and a little sarcastic/sardonic). High quality and great prompts.

Let Your Scathing Darkness Shine!

A dear friend got me this book because of a few others in our found family who, though well intentioned, were risking their own well-being by excessive pointing out silver linings and aggressive turd-polishing.

Basically, I’m a silver tongued devil with a saturnine disposition, and people are often put off/putting video of it up on YouTube when my rants get a little too intense. Wait, not intense, let’s go with eloquent. Not my fault they can’t see and describe the world for the doomed goat-rodeo it is. But now I just… you know. Write the ol’ rants down. And then I threaten them with reading my compositions aloud at holiday dinners in front of their MAGA-worshiping parents if they try to silence me with their insipid little gratitude lists. Serenity can get bent. This is a time for self-righteous, apoplectic fury!!!

Anyway, your book is very nice. Thank you, I will be buying many of them. Have a fine day, but keep your guard up. Cheers.
