However, if you're staying on dry land it's also National Mom and Pop* Business Owners Day, so a perfect excuse to support your favorite small business. Hey, that's us here at Boredwalk, right?
*Why is it mom and pop? This implies human offspring, of which I have none. Do I even count? How would I even have time to take care of kids and run Boredwalk? Is Eccentric-Childless-Xennial Business Owners Day too much of a mouthful? Maybe we should get our own day. I have so many questions.
This day is already getting too complicated. Maybe I should just give up, go meet up with the girls, and drown some sailors.
