Spiraling out? 🥴

Happy National Toast Day! Today's occasion is all about toast, which is one of my favorite things to eat, actually — buttered toast, avocado toast, any kind of tartine — I am for all of it; bust out the stretchy pants.

I would also like to make a toast to our newest creations, which you can see up top. We don't usually announce new product releases on a Wednesday, but I was too psyched about our new spiral notebook collection to wait for Friday!

I was excited for the arrival of these notebooks not just because I wanted to share them with you, but because I was dying to get them for myself. I've been trying to cut back on staring at my phone, but it's also where I often jot down notes and ideas. Having an analog notebook handy will solve that problem, since I'll be able to make notes for myself without getting sucked into social media.

Don't worry — I've still got a selection of links ready to entertain you below. But first, a couple of February 23rd birthday nods:

*****

Actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer Aziz Ansari, born on this day in 1983! He's probably best known for his role as Tom Haverford on NBC's Parks and Recreation, but he's also a pretty consistently funny standup comedian. His Netflix series Master of None is worth a watch if you haven't seen it, as are his numerous standup specials.

Sociologist, historian, civil rights activist, and writer William Edward Burghardt "W.E.B." Du Bois, born on this day in 1868! Du Bois was one of first African Americans to earn a doctorate and was one of the founders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1909.

Actress, comedian, and TV host Niecy Nash, born on this day in 1970! Nash is best known for hosting Style Network's Clean House, but you may have also seen her on Reno 911!, Scream Queens, or Claws.

Lastly, birthday shoutouts to actor, director, and screenwriter Peter Fonda (1940) and entrepreneur, investor, and author Daymond John (1969).

Now on to some amusing links!
