APRIL 12, YOU'RE SUSPECT
When checking out today's frivolous occasions on the calendar things started off promising; Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day (yes please), Drop Everything and Read Day (D.E.A.R. Day) — don't have to ask me twice. But I also noticed the day trying to honor both licorice and marizpan, two confections conceived of in Hell that I wouldn't consume if they were the last treats on Earth.
You're chaotic, April 12th, and I can only imagine what other tricks you have up your sleeve. No one look at April 12th too closely — maybe if we are all very good and quiet it will just go choke on a black Twizzler and leave us in peace.
Satan loves black licorice and that is all you need to know about it.
